Terms of Use

Agreement

90 IQ (“we”, “us”) is a daily football trivia game operated by Bitomit, available at 90iq.app and as iOS and Android apps. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Bitomit, and they apply however you use 90 IQ. By using 90 IQ you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service. How we handle your data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.

Who can use 90 IQ

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use 90 IQ with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. You may not use 90 IQ if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or sanctions.

Your account

You can play the daily quiz without an account. Signing in (with Apple, Google, or a one-time code sent to your email) saves your scores and unlocks social features. There is no password to lose — but you are responsible for keeping access to your email or sign-in provider secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Choose a display name that isn’t offensive, misleading, or someone else’s to claim; we may reset names that break this rule. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

Your licence to use 90 IQ

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use 90 IQ for your own non-commercial entertainment, on devices you own or control. 90 IQ is licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights not expressly granted here.

Fair play & acceptable use

90 IQ is a competition, and leaderboards only mean something if everyone plays honestly. You agree not to:

• cheat, or use bots, scripts, automation, or modified clients to answer questions or inflate scores;
• create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards, duels, leagues, streaks, or referrals;
• attempt to extract the question pool, or intercept, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the scoring or anti-cheat systems;
• probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or access it through anything other than the official web app and mobile apps;
• harass other players, or use a display name or profile content that is abusive, hateful, sexual, or unlawful;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of 90 IQ.

If we reasonably believe you have broken these rules we may reset scores, remove badges or leaderboard entries, or suspend or terminate your account.

90 IQ Club subscription

90 IQ Club is an optional paid membership. It is never required to play the daily quiz. Membership unlocks the quiz archive, advanced statistics, a weekly streak freeze, and Club flair on leaderboards. Features may change over time.

Price and renewal. 90 IQ Club costs US$2.99 per month (or the equivalent in your local currency, which may differ due to exchange rates and local taxes). It is an auto-renewing subscription: unless you cancel, it renews automatically at the end of each monthly period and your payment method is charged the then-current price. It renews until you cancel. We will tell you in advance if the price changes.

How you are billed, and how to cancel. This depends on where you subscribed:

• Web (90iq.app) — billed by us through Stripe. Cancel any time from your Club settings in the app; your membership stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• iOS app — billed by Apple to your Apple Account. Cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the period ends; otherwise it renews automatically. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Android app — billed by Google to your Google Play account. Cancel in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions.

Deleting your 90 IQ account does not by itself cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google — you must cancel it in your device’s subscription settings.

Refunds. For subscriptions bought through the iOS or Android apps, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, and we cannot issue them. For web subscriptions billed by us through Stripe, contact hello@bitomit.com and we will deal with your request fairly and in line with your local consumer rights, which these Terms do not limit.

Content and intellectual property

90 IQ, including its questions, design, branding, and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You keep ownership of what you submit (such as your display name and league names), and you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to run the service — for example showing your display name on a public leaderboard or profile. Player and team names, competitions, and other trademarks referenced in questions belong to their respective owners; 90 IQ is an independent trivia game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, any football competition, club, or governing body.

Third-party services and platforms

90 IQ relies on third parties to operate (listed in our Privacy Policy) and may link to or draw on third-party content. We don’t control third-party services and aren’t responsible for them, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms. Where you obtained 90 IQ through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store’s terms also apply to your download and any purchase made through it.

Additional terms for the iOS app

These Terms are between you and Bitomit only, not with Apple, and Bitomit — not Apple — is solely responsible for 90 IQ and its content. Your licence to use the iOS app is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms of Service. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Bitomit is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, any failure to conform to legal requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims, as well as any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you. Questions, complaints, or claims about the app should be directed to hello@bitomit.com.

Additional terms for the Android app

These Terms are between you and Bitomit only, not with Google. Bitomit — not Google — is solely responsible for 90 IQ, its content, and any support. Google is not responsible for the app or these Terms. Your use of Google Play is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service, and purchases made through Google Play are handled by Google under those terms.

Availability and changes

We aim to publish a new quiz every day, but 90 IQ is provided on an ongoing best-effort basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance. If we permanently discontinue 90 IQ Club, we will stop charging you and give you a pro-rata refund for any period you have paid for but can’t use, where required by law.

Termination

You can stop using 90 IQ at any time and delete your account from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, or if we need to for legal or security reasons. Your licence ends when your account ends. If we terminate your account without cause while you hold a paid membership, we will refund the unused portion.

Disclaimers

90 IQ is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that quiz questions and answers will always be accurate or complete — football facts are disputed and records change. Some jurisdictions don’t allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of 90 IQ. Our total liability for any claim relating to 90 IQ is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud — and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in California will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction whose law gives you the benefit of mandatory local rules, you keep the protection of those rules and may bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as 90 IQ evolves. If we make material changes we will update this page and the effective date above, and where the change significantly affects you we will give reasonable notice in the app. Continuing to use 90 IQ after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
